1. Membership Information
 

 

Q.What is Courierboard.com’s Premium trial membership?

A. Courierboard.com – Beta is a free 2 month premium trial membership including all of the features listed for Premium level in the chart below.  At the end of our Beta trial period, you will have the option to roll over your trial account into a free Exchange account, or select one of the paid membership account options listed below.

 

As a Premium trial member you can post freight, vehicles and RFPs, search for freight, vehicles and RFP’s, Bid on RFPs, and receive auto email alerts when new postings are listed on Courierboard.com, in up to 7 different zip code zones.

 

We encourage you to report any problems you encounter while using Courierboard.com, and definitely call us or email us with any suggestions you have for features you would  like us to add or change to make using Courierboard.com more effective for your company. 

  

Q. What are the differences between Membership Levels?

A. Once your free trial premium account membership period has elapsed, you will have the option to roll your account into a Free Exchange Account, or select a Basic or Premium paid membership account.

Q. How much does it cost to use Courierboard to post freight?

A. Posting freight is always free on Courierboard.com! Shippers and freight forwarders can select our free Exchange Account option and post unlimited freight items on Courierboard, anytime!, plus enjoy additional Courierboard.com features, all for free. 

 

Q. Can I search on Courierboard.com for free?

A. Yes, from Courierboard.com’s home page, members and non-members can search for freight or vehicles in any city/state or zip code. Those searches will show you a list of postings meeting your search criteria.  Details on the search results list will only include the freight pick up date or vehicle available date and city/state location of listed postings. To view complete posting details, including posting company name and contact information, specific details or requirements, etc. you must register and sign up for either Basic or Premium account membership.

 

Q. What benefits does my company receive with a Exchange or Premium account membership?

A. After your Premium Trial Membership, you can select from two options: Exchange Account (Free) or  Premium account memberships (Paid). Exchange membership is designed for companies that primarily intend to use Courierboard to post freight, post RFPs, and search for courier company profiles to locate companies to fulfill delivery requirements.
Premium members have full access to all Courierboard services: including Premium only features that include: posting a company profile 24/7/365, searching for drivers, posting driver wanted ads, posting available vehicles and searching for freight.  All members, both exchange and Premium will receive Courierboard's instant email alerts when new freight, RFP and vehicle postings are listed. For full details on these listing, including company name and contact information, a Premium membership is required. 

 

Q. How do I upgrade or change my Membership Level?

A. Access your Control Panel settings, and go to Upgrade Account.

Switch to any membership level or add additional features here. Changes will be effective on your next billing cycle date.  Questions on billing should be directed to accounts@courierboard.com

 

Q. How do I cancel my member account?

A. Send us an email with a cancellation request to members@courierboard.com.  Please include your name, company name, and email contact information for verification. 

 

Q. How long are membership terms?

A. Memberships are monthly and renew automatically. 

 

Q. Can I pay quarterly, semi-annually or annually?

A. Yes. Contact accounts@courierboard.com.  An invoice will sent via email that you can pay with credit card or pay pal.

 

Q. What if I have multiple offices, should I have one account or more?

A.  You should open an account for each office that will be using Courierboard.com to post and search. Each office account creates a unique company profile and is set up with a specific contact person, address, contact information, and up to 7 alert zip code preferences. If you have one office overseeing all the items you post or search for on Courierboard.com, then one account is sufficient.  If you have more than one location, contact person, etc. using Courierboad.com, then create separate accounts for each.

 

Q. If we create multiple accounts for our company are the monthly fees still the same for each account?

A. Please contact us at Courierboard.com to discuss the number of accounts you are considering and we will review pricing options specific for your company’s usage level.

 

2. Email Alerts

 

Q. What are email alerts?

A. Email alerts are automatic email notices sent to your contact email address when new postings for freight, vehicles, and RFPs are listed on Courierboard.com.  You receive email alerts for postings made in your business zip code zone.

 

Q. How often are email alerts sent?

A. Our email alert system is updated every 15 minutes.  You will receive within 15 minutes when a new posting is listed in your business zip coded zone. Your business zip code zone includes all zip codes within 50 milesof your account address zip code.

 

Q. Can I add additional zip codes for alerts?

A. Yes.  With our premium trial membership, you can add up to six additional zip codes, expanding your alert coverage.  On Your Control Panel, left menu, use Alert Preferences to add zip codes for alerts.

 

Q. Can I customize the types of alerts I receive?

A. Yes.  There are three types of alerts: freight, vehicle, and RFP. You can turn alerts on and off, by type.  If you only wish to receive a certain type of alert, turn that type on, and turn off alerts you don’t wish to receive.

 

3. Posting Items - Freight, Vehicles, or RFPs

 

Q. How do I post on Courierboard.com?

A. Sign in to your account with your username and password to access the Control Panel.  On your control panel, select the blue tab for the type of posting – Freight, Vehicle or RFP.    Select from the dropdown list: Post Freight, Post Vehicle or Post RFP, and complete the online listing form.  Once you submit, your posting will immediately be listed on Courierboard.com. 

 

Q. How far in advance can I post on Courierboard.com?

A. You can post freight and vehicles up to 30 days in advance.

 

Q. What is the fastest way to post multiple items?

A. Use our QuickPost form for Freight and our QuickPost form for Vehicles (from the main tabs and drop down menus on Your Control Panel), to post multiple items at the same time.

 

Q.  How can we easily post a scheduled vehicle route? 

A. On the Post Vehicle form, enter your route and vehicle information. Use the pop up calendar and select every date you would like to post that route - up to 30 days in advance. (ie. All Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, in the coming month) Each date on the calendar you select will be listed individual vehicle postings on Courierboard.com. 

 

Q. How long do items stay listed on Courierboard.com?

A. Items may be posted on Courierboard up to 30 days in the future. Postings are removed from Courierboard.com after the pickup freight date or available vehicle date of your posting has passed.
